INFRAMES and CEINT Colleagues are holding an NSF/USDA sponsored workshop on the precision delivery of nano-enabled agrochemical agents to plants. The workshop will be September 19-20, 2022 at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA (USA). The goal of this workshop is to identify critical scientific and engineering barriers to designing nanomaterials that provide efficient uptake and targeted delivery of active agents to specific locations in plant tissues.

The first ½ day of the workshop on September 19th (9:00-12:00) will feature three Plenary Lectures that frame the problem and lay out potential approaches to overcome barriers preventing precision delivery on nano-enabled carriers into plants, and group discussion. This Plenary session will be hybrid (in person and virtual) and is OPEN TO ALL who wish to attend via Zoom.

Plenary Speakers:

Dr. Greg Lowry, Carnegie Mellon University

Dr. Chris Alabi, Cornell University

Dr. Charu Charudattan, BioProdex

To participate in the plenary session virtually, please register for the meeting (it is FREE) and we will send you the Zoom link for the meeting. We look forward to having you join this important workshop.
